Post-Secondary Learning
This section goes over my formal education during college. I’m currently a part-time engineering student in graduate studies for materials engineering.
Qualifications
- College: North Carolina State University
- Degree: Bachelor’s
- Major: Nuclear Engineering
- Graduation Date: June 2022
Undergraduate Level Coursework
NE408 – Nuclear Engineering Design Project
Idaho National Laboratory requested a viability check for the usage of uranium-based fuel designs due
to the strains placed on supply by solely relying on plutonium-based reactor designs for the Versatile
Test Reactor (VTR). Utilizing LUPINE, a FORTRAN based finite element method software, we tested various
core designs with the objective of reaching a similar neutron flux value of 4E-15 n/cm2s.
Graduate Level Coursework (2022 – Present)
MSE591 – Introduction to Materials Informatics
MSE500 – Modern Concepts of Materials Science
Secondary Research of Interest
This area focuses on secondary research papers written for the sake of learning more about the world and developing my understanding of concepts outside the classroom. Specifically, this is for works that cannot be considered a project due to the lack of a physical/digital product being generated outside of the writing of the topic itself.
Quadratic Formula Proof
Side Projects
This section is meant to present work that I found intriguing enough to dive into that also generated products that can be viewed generally; and that were also done for the sake of my own education on topics.
